We figured you might have some questions.
What is “Wesley”?
Wesley is the name United Methodists give to their ministries on the college campuses across the globe. We are a connected group of ministries and you can find one almost anywhere! We are named after John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement which also started on a college campus!
What is Wesley at FSU & TCC?
We are a gathering of students on the campuses of Florida State University and Tallahassee Community College. Some of us are United Methodist, but a lot of us aren’t. We gather in the name of Jesus to worship, read Scripture, learn about God, and grow in our faith and community.
When are Wesley’s gatherings?
Wesley meets at many times during the week but our main gatherings are Sundays for worship at 11am in the Wesley building and Wednesday nights at 6pm for Community Night. Our building is located at 705 W Jefferson St Tallahassee, FL 32304, right across from Landis Hall and right next to the Sweet Shop.
Check out this page to see what a typical week at Wesley might look like!
How do I get involved?
The first thing to do is show up! come get to know some of the Wesley people by coming to any of our events. If you’re a first-year student, we’d love to connect you with our First-Year Life Groups where you can do life with students just like you from both FSU and TCC.
Can I meet with the pastor?
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That’s the best part of Bryant’s job. You can set up a time to chat with him over coffee or lunch or just in the office or around campus by visiting here. Or, you can text or call him at 863-660-3714.
